Stanford Model United Nations Travel Team

What is the Stanford Model United Nations Travel Team?

As Stanford’s competitive MUN travel team, we compete at conferences around the world on the collegiate Model UN circuit. At conferences, we simulate serious UN sessions and absurd crisis committees that require diplomacy skills and knowledge of international policy. All conference costs are covered by the organization.

Get Involved

Students interested in joining the Model UN Team should attend our weekly practices held in the Haas DK Room at 5:00 PM on Sundays. All students are welcome to attend, regardless of experience level. Attendance at individual conferences is determined by application.

Having been involved with leadership on Stanford's Model UN team for the past two years, Sophie is thrilled to serve as the Captain of the team this year. She looks forward to working on team goals of accessibility, community, and performance. He is originally from Edina, Minnesota, a fact that some members of the board claim he talks about too much. Colin is a huge football fan (SKOL Vikings), loves any sort of strategy game, and will talk your ear off about anything related to Chelsea Football Club. Contact me at colinmck@stanford.edu

  • Emily Suh

  • Josh Bahk

    BOARD FELLOW

Josh is a frosh from Rancho Cucamonga, California interested in studying just about anything and everything. He’s super excited to be a SIAS board fellow this year as part of the Model UN social team. He loved staffing SMUNC and being part of an amazingly fun FTX meltdown crisis committee. He can’t wait to go to travel conferences like HNMUN and NYUMUNC later this year. In his free time, he enjoys the simpler things in life like finding random buildings to climb and being abnormally good at Roblox Bee Swarm Simulator.

  • Britney Bennett

    BOARD FELLOW

Britney is a sophomore from Long Island, NY, studying Human Biology and minoring in Data Science with an interest in global health and bioinformatics. She is super excited to be a SIAS Board Fellow for MUN this year! She can be found around campus doing plant biology research, going on a run, or wondering why she doesn't buy a Mocha Tesora from Phillz more often.
